Connecting AI to Field Service Software with Inrconnect

How Inrconnect gives ChatGPT and Claude controlled access to Jobber and Housecall Pro

AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude are incredibly capable, but out of the box they can't see your business. They don't know your customers, your schedule, your open estimates, or which jobs finished yesterday. For home service businesses running on platforms like Jobber or Housecall Pro, that gap means copying and pasting data back and forth just to get useful answers.

That's the problem Inrconnect solves.

Inrconnect is a connection layer between field service platforms and AI clients, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It gives ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible MCP clients direct, controlled access to your Jobber or Housecall Pro account, so your AI assistant can actually work with your real business data.

What It Does

Once connected, your AI client gets a set of tools covering six operational areas:

  • Contacts
  • Leads
  • Jobs
  • Estimates
  • Scheduling
  • Company data

Depending on the provider, these tools can search and retrieve records or perform selected create, update, reschedule, dispatch, note, and appointment actions. Instead of asking "how do I find this in my CRM," you just ask your assistant: "Pull up the estimate for the Johnson job" or "What's on the schedule tomorrow?" and it answers from live data.

How It Works

Getting connected takes a few steps:

  1. Create an organization - Sign up and create the organization that will own the provider connection
  2. Connect your provider - Jobber connects through OAuth, Housecall Pro through an API key
  3. Configure MCP access - Issue read-only or read-write access and disable any individual tools you don't want exposed
  4. Add it to your client - Drop the provider-specific MCP URL into ChatGPT, Claude, or another compatible client

From there, your assistant can call the tools directly. No exports, no copy-paste, no custom integration work.

Access Control Comes First

Handing an AI assistant the keys to your business software is a serious decision, so Inrconnect was built around organization-managed control:

  • MCP access belongs to an organization and a specific provider connection
  • Admins choose read-only or read-write access per key
  • Individual tools can be disabled entirely
  • Every request is checked against the organization, connection, authorization, tool restrictions, and credit balance

You decide exactly what your AI can see and do, and you can tighten or revoke that access at any time.

Simple, Usage-Based Pricing

Successful tool calls consume a fixed number of credits based on the action. Your organization can review its balance and full transaction history in the dashboard, so there are no surprises about what your AI is doing or what it costs.

Why This Matters

Field service software is great at scheduling and invoicing, but the people running these businesses are increasingly turning to AI for everything else: drafting follow-ups, summarizing the day, answering questions about the pipeline. Inrconnect makes that possible with real data instead of guesswork, and with guardrails that keep the business owner in control.
